Redken colorfusion I just purchased. Would I be able to use this Redken Color Gel developer inplace of the Redken Cream developer ?I just ordered a Redken color gel developer in error and was suppose to get the Redken cream developer for my?
As long as its just developer you will be fine. The fusion developer is a cream base and the gel is more liquid. Your product will be runnier. In the salon we have put a tiny bit of cornstarch in to make it thicker if you are worried about it running. Now if its the toner developer you cannot mix it because it wont be a high enough volume of peroxide. Its only about 5%.
