It can be done, but only if it is 100% cotton. Even if the label says it is 100% cotton, the sewing thread used is sometimes polyester, and that will not bleach, so it may stay cream-colored, while the shirt would be white. If you do try this, make sure you rinse all the bleach out very thoroughly, as it can rot the fabric if not.What color would a bleached cream shirt turn?
Depends on the amount of bleach... If the right amount of diluted bleach were used the shirt would stay the same colour. Otherwise, it would turn a shade of yellow-tinged white.
