What splash of a color would accentuate gold & cream with classic taste?

Deep, rich colors such as maroon/burgundy, eggplant, chocolate brown, navy blue, and dark green. What splash of a color would accentuate gold %26amp; cream with classic taste?
I saw someone use a muted purple, almost as if it had a grayish tone to the purple, it's hard to describe but it looked so pretty and a nice change of pace from all the pastels you see a lot of brides use. What splash of a color would accentuate gold %26amp; cream with classic taste?
Burgundy red or deep purple.

Colorful, yet understated enough to be 'classic'

Purple is my personal choice, as that adds some 'royal class' to the theme.
Any jewel tones: burgundy, cobalt or navy blue, forest green, plum, pumpkin orange.
Look at a color wheel, and find the opposite...
burgundy, chocolate brown, eggplant
a deep forest green would look breathtaking, and maybe even a scarlet red.
Chocolate brown for sure
Sky blue or pink (think Marie Antoinette)
navy blue
