What color paint will tie together burgandy and an almost buttery cream color?

Cabinets are burgandy. Walls are cream, and will be a second color, met with stencil art (chairrail height). What should I use for the second color? What color paint will tie together burgandy and an almost buttery cream color?
what colors are the seat cushions/curtains/wall decor? are there any shades you could pull from any of these suggestions?

or you could always do a tone on tone look. (i personally like this)What color paint will tie together burgandy and an almost buttery cream color?

It looks gorgeous! I'm laid up right now but I'll e/m a pic when I can Report Abuse

Burgandy and cream are complimentary colours and it sounds like you would like a contrasting colour, you could go a slate grey if it is only for the stencilling. But you need to look at what other furnishings you have in your house, throw pillows on sofas, fabric on chair seats (if any) and curtains, cos you might be better off going along with them for your colour than adding another one in. That buttery cream colour sounds delicious BTW can you spread it on toast I'm hungry.
A tangerine orange in a thin line accent color. Keep the tangerine orange to a minimal amount in a few accent accessory pieces. This will give a great 'pop' to the burgandy and to the butter cream.
I think a dark purple would look good with those colors.
Maybe like a forrest green or a rusty orange.
Babby squirt green...
